As expected, the introduction of the September registration plate resulted in a significant uplift in new LCV registrations.

According to SMMT data, compared to September 2025, registrations were up by 2,286.

At 251,373 year to date, registrations were up by 10,109 compared to the same period last year, highlighting the continued growth and resilience of the LCV market.
